Domain Name Registering your domain name gives you your own easily recognisable website address eg."www.company-name.com". A domain name consists of two parts: The prefix : your company name; The suffix : .com, .org, etc. Generally, .com is used for companies, .org for orginisations, .co.uk for companies in the UK. There are others. |
|
E-mail Incorporated into your domain name package are email address options, eg. "your-name@company-name.com". These will be forwarded to your existing email address. You can have up to five of these, each forwarded to a different address, if you wish. |

Other Options If you do not choose to register a domain name, you can have your site located in your own webspace (if you have it). Bear in mind, though, that your resulting website address will incorporate your Internet Service Provider's name as well as your own, thus may be somewhat long-winded. Alternatively, you can buy some webspace at lehmann-web.com and put it there. Your resulting address in this case would be "www.lehmann-web.com/company-name". In both cases, your email would remain as it is now. If you have already registered your domain name and have webspace to go with it, we can upload your site to this space. |
